Where the hell have I been?!

It's been over a year since I wrote on here so I'm a tad rusty.

Ah who am I kidding, I love to type about myself and my bro-ing ons about life. My sister started a blog just to keep her mind in the right place, so I thought to myself "West, you should write in your blog again". So here I am. (also you should head on over to her blog. It's about treats. Yummy yummy baked goods.)

What has happened in the last year for us here at Blue Matter? Well we have had 5 new videos since my last post. The dark but thought provoking Trapped, The hilarious Nut for a Night with our friends at Quality Chaos (and the debut of Trish and Lady Gaga's stunt double Buela!) A comedy done by my little family, something we can all relate to entitled Failed Attempt. And the dramatic Funeral Flowers dealing with a subject that is all too real in our world. But this feels like it was ages ago. It's been eons since we filmed.

Work on the zombie film I mentioned earlier (4) has been slowed. I moved so I had to rewrite it again as it was set in my last apartment, and this one is so much different. Now we need to start work on it again. I Loved Her More (another dramatic thriller) never really got off the ground, but I'm working on that. I have to recast a part so it's been difficult. A couple other projects have made their way down the clink, and I wish like hell I had a camcorder so I can start on things and not have to rely on other people. (I love you J-man but I want to be able to do things on my own. I've thought of many things I could have done but only at 3 am when you're tucked away snoozing).

Oh camcorder business! I found a nice camera that does HD video that is half the price of the one I was currently trying to get! So I should be able to get it sooner than I previously thought! Yay us!

This last month has been busy for me. (3 weddings is a lot!) But I've done quite a bit of writing. I have 2 feature length scripts almost finished and I'm finally getting the Forest into the computer so I can share that with people before too long as well. It's happening, not as fast as I'd like but we're getting there. Until then people, keep watching. I'll have more eventually!
